Satan is the Father of Lies

In his book, St. George and the Dragon and the Quest for the Holy Grail, author Edward Hays tells parables which are delivered by a spiritual dragon named Igor to his student George, who was Sent. In his book, the St. stands for Sent. We are all students!

One parable discusses the eternal fight between good and evil, during which the Devil feels he is getting the short end of the stick, he’s always losing. After ruminating on his misfortune for some time, the Devil finally falls on a brilliant strategy:

"I've got it!" yelled the Devil. "It just came to me. I shall come to earth disguised as the Enemy! Yes, I shall become incarnate in the world as LOVE!" At this all the Ace Demons roared with riotous laughter, as their little tails beat furiously on the scalding steel floors of hell.

The Devil then sets about staging his launch as the enemy (Love) and plans for the date of February 14^th, Valentine’s Day. He then orchestrates his coming as any number of contemporary forms of love. Love of Country, Love of one’s religion, Love of one’s name, Parental Love. His logic? “Love makes people blind! If evil comes as Love, I can blind them to the reality of what is happening. They will become ‘a people living in darkness.’”

This parable occurred to me as we have watched the Christian Nationalists and their goal to takeover the U.S. government. This is the Devil himself, using the name of Christ to enact the weaponization of the government and destruction of democracy. “Christian nationalists agree with statements like the federal government should declare the United States of America a Christian nation. Our laws should be based on Christian values.”

These people are white supremacists, deeply racist, deeply misogynistic and do NOT represent The Christ. You must study Project 2025 to realize the depravity and mental illness inside these Talibangelicals.

One of the few actual Christians willing to speak out against the blasphemy of the Christian Nationalists is the preacher, James Talarico…also a Texas state Representative. “Faith is the whole reason I’m in politics. My church taught me that the two most important commandments Jesus gave us were to love God and love our neighbor.”

The lurch toward fascism in the USA has been engineered by Dominionists and the adherents to the doctrines of R. J. Rushdoony. Rushdooney advocated that the U.S. Constitution; “…was a secular document in appearance only and did not need to establish Christianity as an official religion since the states were already Christian establishments.”

To understand Project 2025, you need to know who is behind The Council for National Policy. Between the CNP and the Heritage Foundation there is a mass of other “religious” groups that have been plotting the takeover of the country to supposedly “return it to its biblical roots.” These people call themselves Christians and they call themselves Conservatives, yet they are neither. The Seven Mountains Mandate is not Christian and is not Conservative. None of the players in Project 2025 can claim the mantle. Catholic Integralism, nope. The New Apostolic Reformation, nope.

Edward Hays is/was a Christian. He and James Talarico would have been the best of friends.

The founding fathers of the country were Freemasons. In addition, they were learned…voracious book readers. Cicero, Plato, Marc Antony…and studied Roman and Greek societies in their effort to create the world’s first truly democratic country. Religion NEVER had ANYTHING to do with the founding of America. Rushdooney was always high on his own supply.

The long line of insane, far-right religious nutjobs, jackals and freaks think it is their “mandate” now to take over the country and shove Jesus up our collective asses. Fuck that.

It is going to take a tremendous effort on all our parts to hold the nation up to the ideals set forth by the founding fathers. The people behind Project 2025 want to remove the Constitution. As Rushdooney said, it is secular. This IS fascism. Our First Amendment tells them they are gravely out of order in their lust to implement the United States of Jesus.

As we watch their insanity unfold before our eyes, we need to remain calm and steadfast in our opposition to this fascist move.

When the Whigs fell in the mid-1800s, Abraham Lincoln stood up to the enslavers by stating that he was the only true conservative in the lot. His reasoning? Lincoln said he believed what the founders had written: All men are created equal. This logic made him the true conservative because he was holding fast to the document(s). The others were playing okeydokey by trying to make up laws that went against the Constitution.

It is important to let you know that the battle between the Devil and God ended in glory in Edward Hays’ parable:

It is our sacred duty now to defend the country and create whatever resistance we can to the fascists and their religious bigotry and hate. It’s what The Christ would ask of us. WWJD?
